In the third picture, I see a river running into a lake or pool which branches off to each lady in the green. Then whatever isn't used from there is for the ladies without their own source or branch of water. They all basically get seconds.
Each lady up top seem to have a sized section leading down to them. Like a wall, maybe. Maybe a representation Hierarchy.
Another idea could be from the Lilly. Trying to explain evolution possibly. The ladies up top seem to look like they've birthed offspring. Their hips and bellies are at an angle suggesting the idea. Then there are the women down below. They seem to be with virgin looking bodies.
Lillys could be symbolic as to they all sit on top of a pond and a creek carries the offspring down to another pond to reproduce.
Maybe in the end it's evolution or how humans populated the Earth and how the gene pool works. Or just as simple as a study of how the reproductive system works.
It's just a shot at this. I have no back ground in these studies but I love solving problems, strategy, science, and history.

I loved this story :) What an adventure, so wonderfully narrated.
"...but this was long before I read any zen" - haha, you are so good! Loved the smooth ending too :)
I too had a resembling experience several years ago, but it was not in the least as dangerous as your little recreational trip. No sharks here for sure, but our rails were almost in the water too :-/
Funny you think Florida weather is predictable! *snerk*

Ooo, I couldn't agree more. I've watched the series, and desperately wanted to reach through the screen and hug Cadfael. His justice and intelligence was so attractive. And Derek Jacobi is so sexy. So yummy. And seeing someone else also share my feelings, well, makes me feel a little more normal. Thanks for sharing.
